ZQJ series desander of GN solids control is the second phase solids control equipment in well drilling, the general cones are8”, 10”, and 12”, mainly separate 47~76μm particle out. According to customers’ treating capacity requirements, choose different quantity cones.
The ZQJ desander is a compact desander designed for the separation of solids from fluids such as the drilling mud also referred as drilling fluid, bored piling, and so on. The machine is mounted within a heavy duty hollow section steel frame with 4 point lifting lugs.

The ZQJ desander has a throughput capacity from 120m3/hr to 240m3/hr with low viscosity muds The machine has an orbital motion primary shaker fitted with a coarse wedgewire screen. This is used for the removal of gravels, timber, roots and coarse sands. After primary screening the mud is pumped by a Metso HM100 pump to a single HL 400/20o hydrocyclone, where the main cleaning takes place. The underflow from the large hydrocyclone is discharged onto a linear motion dewatering shaker dressed with slotted screens. The overflow from both hydrocyclones is passed to a header tank where some is recycled and from where the cleaned mud is discharged for re-use. The dewatered solids from both shakers discharge onto a chute at the front of the machine. The unit is normally operated on top of a tank, but can also be trailer mounted or operated on the ground if required.
