Now GN new composite screens are manufactured in its newly built No. 2 factory, which can now manufacture over 5000 pieces of the composite frame screens per month. From the end of last year GN has gradually upgraded its screen product line from metal frame to composite frame. As the new composite frame screens have the following new features: the screen steel frame inside the composite shell is made by automatic robot welding, which will make the screen better quality and consistency. The screens are all four side pre-tensioned. This will make the reduce the gas between mesh layers and extend the screen life. All the GN screens if API is above 60, it will be all three layers. GN has the same supplier of its wire mesh as DERRICK and MI SWACO which will guarantee the quality of replacement screens close to the OEM’s.  GN’s screen life could be up to 300-700 hours under different working conditions. The effective and usable area of composite frame screens could be 10%-20% larger than the old metal screen area. The composite screen is easier to be stored at least for 5 years. Now GN can not only manufacture it own OEN’s replacement composite screens for its own shaker 594, 703, 752, but also can manufacture most of the industry famous OEM screens manufacturer’s replacement screens, even customize the composite screens as per customer’s requirement.

GN Solids America facility was first established in 2014 in Houston, TX. The facility is a multi functional with office, assembly center and spare parts center. The facility takes about 30,000 square feet. This office is the first overseas subsidiary for GN Solids Control and is performing the function as sales, after market service and warehousing.

Now in GN Solids America warehouse, there is plenty of shaker screen in stock. Recently as the OPEC members have agreed to reduce the production of crude oil, the international crude oil price is gradually picking up and we can also see from the BAKER HUGHES weekly rig count report that the rig numbers is growing up week by week. GN believe in the coming 2017, we will see more opportunities in the oil and gas industry. So today we will introduce again one of its mature mud recycling system for 1500 HP drilling rig system- the mud recycling system for oil and gas drilling.

The mud recycling system consists of the following key components, shale shaker, mud gas separator, vacuum degasser, decanter centrifuge, centrifugal pump, agitator, mud cleaner( sometimes it is desander or desilter), mud gun and so on. The system works like this: first the mud coming from the wellbore will go through the pipeline to the mud distributor connecting to the shale shakers, then the shale shaker will do the coarse separation and discharge the large solids out of the system. The fine mud will go to the vacuum degasser to eliminate the cut in gas which will make the mud recycling working more effectively and efficiently. Then the mud will go to the tank and pumped into the mud cleaner. The mud cleaner the separate the solid size from 40-60 microns. Then the feed pump will suck the finer mud from the mud cleaner to the decanter centrifuge which will be mainly used for recovering the barite. The barite is a very important element for the drilling mud, it will increase the mud gravity and keep the mud working in a good level of property. The mud gun and agitator will be allocated in different tanks to keep the mud even and solid not dropping down into the tank corner. This is a very mature and reliable mud recycling system. It has been used by customers all around the world.

Mud cleaning system is two main parts, the storage mud tank on below and many machines serve as purify the drilling fluid, which get rid of the solid debris in drilling fluid. The mud tanks which store drilling fluid are divided into circulation tanks and store tanks. Circulation tanks as a part of the filter cycle, there are shale shaker, vacuum degasser, deserter, and desander and decanter centrifuge on the top of tank.

The2nd level of purification
When drilling fluid have debris contain gas, The use of vacuum degasser remove the gas which in the drilling fluid and can recover the density of drilling fluid, calm the drilling fluid viscosity.

The 3rd level of purification
the drilling fluid is disposed by two levels, mud purification enters into the desander.  Through the desander feed into the liquid pump, the harmful sold phase which the diameter is above 40-60um is separated in desander.

The 4th level of purification
the drilling fluid is disposed by the three level purification enter into the desilter through the desilter feed into the liquid pump, the harmful sold phase which the diameter is above 15-40um is separated in desilter.

The 5th level of purification
The drilling is disposed by the four level purification enter into the decanter centrifuge through the centrifugal feed liquid pump, the small harmful sold phase particles are separated in decanter centrifugal.

Usually, all five purification is all working at the same time. If it works one equipment or several equipments, the parameters of the drilling fluid can all meet the work requirements; it can work in one equipment or in several equipments. After the purification, drilling fluid can re-use in the drilling cycle
